Dear Friends,
I was recently elected as the President of the White Plains Bar Association and I am
greatly honored to have this opportunity to serve the bar association and the legal
community. The White Plains Bar Association has a long and productive history of
over 60 years and I am happy to be a member of such a prestigious association.
The city of White Plains is expanding and our bar association is part of that growth. We
are aware of the changes in the city and we are adapting to accommodate and
participate in this exciting growth.
The White Plains Bar Association is reaching out to prospective members and
expanding its membership. Our bar association is planning exciting and timely
programs for the coming year. Some of our programs will be to examine the current
state of the banking industry, to hear from the Attorney General's office and to invite
federal judges to speak at our program.
The White Plains Bar Association also has plans for a wonderful winter holiday party
and a spring golf outing both of which will be held at beautiful country clubs. Our bar
also sponsors programs at local venues with topics such as Take Your Children to
Work and Law Day and provides awards to Pace Law School students and to high
school students for outstanding essays based on gender fairness issues.
I am receptive to new ideas and concepts and to explore new avenues to reach
students, professionals and members of the community. I look forward to serving in
this position and I look forward to an exciting and interesting forthcoming year.
